teeth

if i can feel the wind and hear it sing a song for me,
if i can walk, look up and see birds fly in V formation,
if i can look on a map and never get lost,
if i can see a familiar face and be happy and be glad for company,
if i can think and emit positive thoughts even if i feel that my heart outruns my mind,
even if i feel that all of my teeth are about to fall off,
even if hardships are certainly uncertain,
even if home is still a wide a gap between today and tomorrow,
even if my intentions are still milling,
even if my prayers are still hovering above the cosmic space yet to be manifested...
and, even if everything be lost...

i am grateful for today.
